Programs and Family Services

Eastside Concerned Citizens, Inc. in partnership with a variety of community agencies seek to provide programs for residents and their families that will enhance their quality of life and also address issues of poverty reduction. ECCI continues to work with the SCMPD to reduce crime in our area via the "Park and Jot" program. This program allows residents to report suspected crime in their areas without having to give their names, addresses, or contact information. The program serves as a way for residents to become "The eyes and ears" in reducing crime. The program has been very successful since its inception.

ECCI also provides information and training for residents who seek to enhance their career opportunities in the medical field(CNA and PCT training), and who wish to understand how to build assets for themselves and their families.  This is achieved by enrolling in the ECCI's Career Development Program.

ECCI believes that seniors are a very important part of our community and thus ECCI provides a Senior Independence Program that assist seniors with the opportunity and support that will allow them to be and remain independent in their home as well as providing a safe, comfortable environment on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00-3:00.

All of these services and programs are provided  in partnership with a variety of community agencies, government support, and community volunteer and all services are free.  TOGETHER WE ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE.
